MÉLISSA PAUL

AT A CROSSROADS BETWEEN ART, DESIGN AND SCULPTURE, THE GALLERY EXHIBITS THE WORKS OF CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS AND DESIGNERS WHO CHALLENGE, QUESTION AND STRETCH THE BOUNDARIES OF SHAPES, TEXTURES AND MATERIALS.

Those are rare pieces of timeless furniture, sometimes practical and serviceable, sometimes sculptural and expressive. Rubbing shoulders with fine craftsmanship, savoir-faire et tradition, those unique or limited edition pieces highlight and foster excellence in absolute art and craft.

Galerie also assists with attention and accuracy the realization of special projects and commissioned creations for collectors and decorators in search of a unique art of living.

About Mélissa Paul

Starting with a career as an embroidery designer in a Haute Couture house in Paris, then as an antique dealer at the Marché Paul Bert des Puces de Saint-Ouen, and always passionate about art & crafts, Mélissa Paul founded in 2018 her first gallery specializing in contemporary creation. Her discerning eye detects talents with a singular aesthetic personality.

In her new space, a former 400m2 hall, located in the historic port district of Nice, Mélissa Paul maintains a stimulating dialogue between craft and design and has become a destination for international artists and collectors. Her early focus on ceramics creation has enabled her to assemble pieces with sophisticated technics and design, making the gallery a unique place in Europe that is both reminiscent of the golden age of ceramics in the South of France and open to the world with a contemporary edge.
