Parisian journalist Alexandra Golovanoff launched her line of cashmere sweaters in 2016. This single-material collection of crew-neck sweaters features five colours for winter and will be expanded to include around fifteen different shades for the Spring-Summer 2017 collection. Alexandra Golovanoff Tricots espouses a simple concept: the "cosmetic sweater". The collection's knitwear is especially flattering because its colours are deliberately chosen to set off the wearer's skin tone and beauty to perfection.

Alexandra Golovanoff

The lovely Alexandra Golovanoff has a taste for beautiful things, a trait she inherited from her parents, who work in antiques. The host of the hit French TV show "La Mode, la mode, la mode" has now created her own line of cashmere sweaters. Sweaters designed with a palette of colours carefully chosen to bring out the wearer’s natural glow – powder pink, shades of brown or blue, and bottle green.

Crewneck Sweaters

For her timeless sweater collection, Alexandra designed two crewneck models, Mila and Virgile, available in a range of complexion-enhancing hues. The first goes perfectly with a pencil skirt, while the second has a more relaxed shape. Alexandra Golovanoff chose colours that set off your eyes, your hair, your skin. The collection is available on the designer's website and from Colette and Le Bon Marché.

A family story

As she set about this challenge, Alexandra surrounded herself with people she loves and admires, starting with her mother and daughter, as well as her fashion accomplices Pierre Hardy and Julie de Libran. These top-notch brand ambassadors are photographed by the renowned Bettina Rheims, who shares Alexandra's obsession with crewneck sweaters. It's a story of fashion and family, featuring timeless sweaters that help us look our best.
